This event is open to all eligible Para Powerlifting athletes, from novice to elite.
Minimum age: 15 years (as of 31 December 2026)
Athletes must meet classification requirements for approved Para Powerlifting competitions
The 2026 Nationals is a World Para Powerlifting (WPPO) sanctioned event, meaning:
Athletes with a current International Classification and WPP Athlete Licence can have results recognised in WPPO rankings

All competition sessions will be held in the Nerang RSL function room.
Weigh-Ins
Weigh-ins will be conducted across two sessions prior to competition (Thursday and Friday). A detailed schedule will be provided closer to the event. Athletes must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their allocated weigh-in time.
