Classification Requirements - To be eligible for a record:
- Athletes must hold a minimum of National Classification
- The performance must be achieved at a World Para Powerlifting approved competition
Coefficient Points Formula (pDOTS)
The pDOTS coefficient formula is applied when two or more weight categories are combined to determine final rankings. This may occur at both domestic and international competitions.
The formula calculates a pDOTS score based on:
- Athlete gender
- Bodyweight
- Best successful lift
This formula applies to both individual and team events.

Note: Athletes must reach the applicable age by 31 December of the year in which the competition takes place.

Vacant Records
To establish a vacant record, the athlete must:
- Meet the WPPO Minimum Standards for World Championships, Paralympic Games or Regional Youth Championships -within their weight class and age division
